Abstract

Health status survey of 377 ayahuasca ceremony participants in the Netherlands. Users reported better mental health, lower alcohol consumption, and higher psychological well-being compared to population norms. Few reported lasting adverse effects. Supports the generally positive safety profile in European ceremonial settings.
