Ayahuasca and tobacco smoking cessation: results from an online survey in Brazil

Abstract

Online survey of Brazilian ayahuasca users examining smoking cessation. Users consuming ayahuasca every two weeks or more had 2.16x higher odds of being in the cessation group. Mystical experience during sessions predicted positive outcomes. Process involves repeated rather than single dosing.
