Ayahuasca, dimethyltryptamine, and psychosis: a systematic review of human studies

Systematic review examining evidence for ayahuasca-related psychotic episodes. Found that most cases involved prior psychiatric history or concurrent substance use. No evidence of persistent psychosis in controlled settings.
