Ona G, Bouso JC

Journal of Psychoactive Drugs (2023)

Systematic review
Abstract

First systematic review of ayahuasca microdosing practices and outcomes. Found limited but growing evidence for sub-perceptual dosing. Users reported improved mood, focus, and creativity. Safety data are scarce. Distinguishes microdosing from full ceremonial doses and identifies key research gaps.
