Abstract

Systematic review covering research from 2017-2023 on ayahuasca for depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, and PTSD. Also examines effects on personality traits and the role of mystical experience in therapeutic outcomes. Found consistent evidence for antidepressant and anti-addictive effects.
