Abstract

Investigated DMT and harmine's neuroprotective effects against cocaine-induced toxicity in human neuroblastoma cells. Both compounds, alone and combined, prevented cocaine-induced apoptosis and maintained cell viability. Supports the mechanistic basis for ayahuasca's anti-addictive properties at the cellular level.
