Prospective observational
Abstract

First prospective study examining psychedelics and narcissism. 314 adults assessed at baseline, post-retreat, and 3-month follow-up using self- and informant-report (N=110). Self-reported decreases in NPI Entitlement-Exploitativeness and a proxy measure of NPD were observed, but effect sizes were small and no significant changes were detected by informants. Provides modest support for adaptive change in narcissistic antagonism.
