Randomized placebo-controlled trial
Abstract

Randomized placebo-controlled study of DMT and harmine (ayahuasca analogues) during a mindfulness retreat. The combination enhanced meditation depth, mystical experience, and sustained increases in mindfulness compared to placebo. Suggests synergistic effects between psychedelic pharmacology and contemplative practice.
