Abstract

Reviews the anti-inflammatory properties of serotonergic psychedelics including DMT and ayahuasca alkaloids. Evidence shows psychedelics suppress TNF-alpha, IL-1beta, and other inflammatory cytokines through 5-HT2A receptor activation. Discusses potential therapeutic applications for inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.
